When one is suffering form mental illness it is advisable to undergo treatment,Treatment is done with the will of the person .he cannot be forced to take any treatment or medication.In certain cases the illness may harm the patient himself or others which require immediate intervention of treatment.In such cases medication can be administered without taking consent.In such circumstance the person will undergo medication and counselling to help him over come the problem.Persons with such mental illness are often in a denial state of their condition,the family is often asked to work around the patient to provide maximum psychosocial support.
