In the current life where people are running behind work and trying to accomplish new heights in their personal as well as professional life. As a result of which, the number of people facing poor work life balance has increased. With an increase in this poor work life balance, there have been increase in the negative impact on employees trying to keep up productivit. People tend to dedicate extra time for their work and this may result in various issues such as physical illnesses , stress, depression or broken relationships. This eventually would be resulting in lowering of the productivity of a person and increased errors at work with decreased engagement levels. In turn, when people have a good work life balance, they tend to be less stressed, with lower levels of absentism and increased productivity. The person tends to be happier and does not face the same work life stress as that of a person having poor work life balance. The employer has a more positive perception of the employee and there is a reduction in recruitment costs with increased employee loyalties and motivation.
