Please help check my grammar, sentence structure, punctuation of the below paragraphs. English is my second language. Thank you very very much!

Good Scout (scores 20-30)

¨     Not perceived by others as being political

¨     Also, not intent on committing political suicide

¨     Believes that most people are hard-working and trustworthy

¨     Career advancement strategy is to display work/job competence

¨     May neglect to cultivate relationships with key people

I scored 29, which is higher than what I expected, but it still truly describes myself. The first two descriptions are very true to me. I used to believe that most people are hard-working and trustworthy. But as I grow older I realize there are still so many people that don't really care about their careers, their goals. Sometimes, I hurt myself because I trust people too much. I'm still working on figuring out who I can trust. I have no problem in building the relationship with key people, but I do struggle with how to approach them at first. I always have a difficult time making new friends and network effectively with people. My introvert personality has something to do with it, and I'm trying very hard to step outside of comfort zone, taking risks in order to help me grow.

Explanation / Answer

I scored 29, which is higher than what I expected. I feel the test results truly describe myself. Especially, the first two descriptions hold very true for me. I used to believe that most people are hard-working and trustworthy. But as I grew older I realized that there are still so many people that don't really care about their careers and their goals. Another thing about me is that I tend to put too much trust in people and sometimes, I end up hurting myself. I'm still working on figuring out who I can trust. I have no problem in building the relationship with key people, but I do struggle with how to approach them at first. I always have a difficult time making new friends and network effectively with people. My introvert personality has something to do with it. I'm trying very hard to step outside of comfort zone and take risks in order to help me grow.
