Don't all of us wear multiple masks or personas that we display to the world? Describe some of your own masks or personas. Are any or all of them "you" in some way - or do some seem very foreign, almost like another person? How/has this changed since high school? Answer:
The Social Psychology of The Breakfast Club was American comedy-drama movie directed
by John Hughes.
Social psychology is a method that tries to explain how behaviour, feelings, thoughts are influenced by the influence of group or presence of another person.
Many psychological concepts like scapegoat theory, social biases, and social loafing are shown in this movie.
The theme of this movie presented the social group stereotypes and their behaviour in the presence of other. It also represents our society in somewhat manner.
People tend to behave differently in different types of groups as they put the mask over their true identity. This concept seems similar to the theme and plot of the movie, where five individual resemble the five stereotype of society(athlete, brain, princess, the basket case, and criminal)
