Evolutionary psychology states that human beings are shaped only to survive and reproduce. According to this theory individuals are attracted towards their opposite sex only if the other sex looks healthy. Its underlying meaning is that when an individual mate iwth opposite sex who is heakthy then the offspring produced will also be heathy to pass on the healthy generation.

Facial features plays major role in ebry field such as when you go for an interview the first thing they ever note is your facial feature similarly when it comes to attraction facial features are a major contributors in selecting a mate. Basically facial features are a cue to other regarding that persons health and their mate value, such as if a male is having a great muscular body and look fair then he is considered as healthy similarly if a women have a small nose, hairless and bright skin then she is considered as healthy. So using individual's facial feature mates are selected.

Not only facial features is considered in selecting a mate and also their physical stength and mental strength are also considered.
