I would take example of latest Marathi movie that I watched Gulabjaam, this movie is about traditional methods and emotions while doing cooking and the flavour coming by cooking it is traditional ways and no shortcuts methods. One modern man comes into the life of such middle aged traditional women, and he gives exposeure to the modern world of his traditional cooking. The traditional women who is intially hating everything new or modern or always prefers to be alone enjoys going out and doing some activities.Social facilitation theory comes into picture - whenever that man is around she does good task of cooking, because she gets positive feelings from him. But whenever she comes accross any past such as her elder sister she is not able to perform well, she is always under her pressure. or her sister or her past.
