A. In this study, work morale in Store A and Store B can be assessed and compared in order to find if the new dress code implemented in Store A leads to an improvement in work morale. Before implementing the new dress code in Store A, a pretest will be conducted using a self-report questionnaire that measures work morale among the staff members of both the stores. After 3 months of implementing the dress code, this questionnaire will again be administered to staff members among both the stores. Two levels of analysis will follow. Firstly, any significant differences between the pretest and posttest scores within each store will be analysed. Next, the posttest scores of both the stores will be compared with each other.
B. This is a quasi-experimental design.
C. We attempt to study the impact of a new dress code on our workers’ morale. This was achieved by comparing two of our similar stores, one in which the dress code was introduced and one in which no dress code was introduced. After three months of implementing the dress code, we assessed the workers’ morale among both the stores. We found that the worker’s morale in the store in which the dress code was introduced was significantly higher than the store in which no dress code was introduced.
