Psychology is a young discipline that is in the process of establishing a strong theoretical understanding of human behavior. The acceptance and amalgamation of varied perspectives are perhaps one of the core strengths of psychology and would be beneficial to the understanding of personality psychology as well. In the future, I see a scope for developing a sense of self in artificial intelligence machines.
