What health benefits could you experience from adopting a whole food, plant based diet? What would be some of the challenges with adopting this type of diet?Explanation / Answer
Answer 1:
Any kind of food or dairy product can be harmful if overconsumed. No matter what, a balanced diet is a must. Meals are considered healthy only when the proteins, carbohydrates, fat, fibre and vitamin are taken in equal quantity. Wherein meat is good for health, it alone cannot fulfill the needs of the body. Excess of meat can be of a risk to the body. It can negatively influence the heart due to its excessive cholestrol. Also, the high levels of Sodium can lead to hypertension further affecting the entire body.
Answer 2:
A plant based diet can increase the blood lipid levels. It helps to purify blood and saves from fat. On the other hand, such a diet fails to give all the required nutrients leading to weakening of the body.
