Question

make a detailed responce to the follwing

I believe that Max Weber was most helpful in helping me understand how the Information Revolution defines our post-industrial society. Max Weber stressed the the development of ideas shape our society. He called this idealism. He thought a new way of thinking in modern society guided by rationality helps produce the most efficient way to complete a task. Weber said that those with a more rational view of the world rather than traditional are more willing to accept the new technology seeing a great opportunity instead of a potential threat. Rational organizations continue to grow and technology provides people today with so much information. Many large organizations now depend on technology use to get the job done, and everyone has individual specialized jobs. It may be hard for someone today to get a job if they lack technology skills. Weber feared that this post-industrial society and work with technology may begin to desensitize people and cause them to lack creativity because the technology is doing all the work. As Weber said, new ideas shape our society, so this shows that the breakthrough and constantly changing technology defines how our post-industrial society with access to numerous amounts of information and data has lead to the Information Revolution, creating greater reliance on technology than manufacturing.

Explanation / Answer

According to Max Weber information revolution due to the advancement in technology has helped mankind in making decisions based on the enormous data that is available. People who are rational make use of the new technology without being skeptical about it. However, the post-industrial society may be stereotyped due to the prevalent use of the technology as men are relying more on technology and thus they are less innovative. This is leading to greater reliance on technology rather than manufacturing.

I agree with Weber that technology has made our life easy but too much of relying on technology will make us less innovative as it will lead to the promotion of stereotypes. For example, it is always advisable for kids to watch less of television as it generates stereotypes makes them less imaginative.
