1- What was/were his/her verbal comment(s)?

2- What was/were his/her physical reaction(s)?

Explanation / Answer

Bandura theory can be applied to study the coffin or casket. The coffin is made up of wood or stainless steel with six sides used for burial of the dead person in the christian family. The casket is made up of four sides used for burial mainly in USA. It can be ordered online and comes in a variety of shapes and sizes according to the attributes of the person.

First example of social theory--Bandura bobo doll experiment was done in 1961-1963 by Albert Bandura to check the behavioral response in children after seeing an adult person respond after hitting the bobo doll. It is a light weight doll with point of gravity aligned so that the bobo doll lifts itself back after being hit by someone hard. It was studied in a group of students from stanford university. The aggressive ,modest and mild behavior of the students were analyzed in the statistical study. It is an example of social behavior. The observation, mimicking and the memory response was studied in the group of students with behavior and memory response on hitting the bobo doll. It analyzes the reciprocal behavior of the person according to the stimulus and the environment present for the upbringing of the students in the society.

Second theory--Jean Piaget stage of child development. The theory stated that the development and the intelligence of the child is not fixed but depends upon the environment in which the child is exposed and the type of the upbringing of the child in the presence of the parents. This theory studies the cognitive potential of the child with the ability to answer questions based on the sensorimotor, preoperational, concrete and formal conditioning in child. It studies the assimilation ,accomodationa and the equilibrium response in a small child with the study of the child reflexes. The suckling reflex in the child on seeing the mother breasts with folding of the palms and holding the body of the mother.

1) The critical comments from fellow colleagues like Keating who challenged the Piaget theory of cognitive development is child claim that about 40-60% students do not reach the operational stage of mental development and do not pass in their exams.

2) Vyogotsy argued that the social interactions among a group of friends is necessary for the development of the child and only cognitive development cannot lead to the development of the child.

3) Bruner theory represents the action, image and the symbolic language based patterning in the child which ultimatey leads to the development of the child. The development depends upon the images and the action that is performed near the child. The child develops by mimicking these actions and later inherits these habits in the form of imprinted brain patterns due to fast learning memory response in some children in childhood.
