The differences between members of the different ethnic and racial groups are far smaller than the differences among members of the same group. These include several factors like socio-economic status, cultural factors, family background, ethnic race and languages, media, use of drugs and narcotics, violent and criminal behavior in the society. The other factors include acculturation, racial discrimination among people from different races. The prevalence of poor health and hygiene among members of various ethnic groups leads to the spread of various diseases in the form of an epidemic. The survey is conducted which analyzes the mortality, morbidity and fecundity in the population of the ethnic groups in the society. It is particularly well studied in the case of the minority populations. The lack of care and awareness with lack of basic facilities leads to the occurence of the diseases and death of the population of people of particular ethnic race in the society. The Hispanic paradox is studied where the health of this race in the united states is much better than the white race in america. Many occupations can lead to the occurence of dangerous diseases during the life of many persons and can cause death. Reciprocal causation results when many immigrants come back to their country to serve their mother country back.

The specific example of the ethnic and racial groups is abu ghraib. In this incidence many US soldiers tortured people in Iraq prisons. This included the use of electric shocks of up to 450 Volts to punish people in society who have done some criminal activity or evil doings.
