One thing people need to really get something done is assertive nature. People must be confident in their approach and talk to other people with assertion in order to convey what is required to be done without being too much overbearing. At the same time, they must always maintain cordial relationship with other people and never offend them.
Two strategies companies can provide to employees along with the challenges:
1. Training in effective communication: Companies must always strive to provide training to its employees so that they are more effective while communicating with ther employees and learn the nuances of assertiveness and the right approach to get something done. Biggest challenge that comes here is the inherent resistance from the employees to come out of their comfort zone and display such characteristics which makes the company's efforts go in vain.
2. Collaborative environment: Companies must create a collaborative environment for its employees where employees do not hesitate to approach others and the employees' feedback is more than welcome, giving them freedom to do their work. Challenge faced in this is in the form of neglect from the team managers to track employee's success and growth and failure in aligning their individual goals with goal of the company.
