Question

How would I go about solving c, d and e? Two points P( 1,2,3) and 0(3,5,-2) which lie on a plane that also passes throug the origin of a Cartesian coordinate system, along with a third point R(8,5.0) A unit vector u extending in a direction normal to (i.e., extending orthogona y plane containing P and Q. The position vector r defining the location of point R. A vector v which is normal to the plane containing P and Q, and can be visualize extending from this plane to point R. The coordinates of the point S on the plane containing P and Q. where the base of v is located, assuming that its tip is located at point R. he coefficients, a, b. and c of the line z = ax + by + c passing through points R and S. A C artesian coordinate system sketch, roughly to scale, showing: the points P. Q. R and S with a triangle connecting points P, Q and the origin, the vectors r. u and v and

Explanation / Answer

c) For this if one point is normal to another two points

i.e if form anythink from these two points then it (normal) needs to satisfy that.

e) then the line should satisfy z=ax+by+c those points(R,S).
