Question

You've learned how to solve linear equations and inequalities, absolute value equations and inequalities, quadratic equations and inequalities, complex number problems, and other equations, such as rational, radical, and power equations. You've also seen how to represent a solution on the number line and some curves on the graph to find inequality solution regions. Among these concepts, which types of algebraic manipulations, equations, or inequalities proved most confusing to you and why? Which properties of numbers (real or imaginary) do these confusing problems involve? Similarly, which types of intervals or set notations, if any, are confusing to you and why?

Explanation / Answer

All these concepts seems very simple to me. I nevere felt any difficultiesin these topics bt while I was Learnig that time it was very confusing togain the concept on inequalities. Since when we perform some operations on the inequalities it reveres its sign now I got it was only when we multiply or divide by a negative number. And also in quadratic equation when it says to factorize it is very hard in the begining to find the factors but practice makes me good in this as well. In complex numbers it is very hard to find square root of a complex number. I always forgot the concept behind this. And also calculation is little hard.In set and and interval notation it is confusing to me when to include the boudary number and when not to include .
