I NEED THIS ANSWERED ASAP PLEASE: Question 1 - A researcher believed that the energy level of an individual is different among morning, afternoon, and evening, and different from male to female as well. He asked 10 participants, 5 males and 5 females, to record their energy level from 1 to 10 with 10 represented the highest level of energy in the morning, afternoon, and evening. The results are below: (Set the significant level at = .05; 27

Explanation / Answer

Ho(gender): there is no significant difference of means between male and female. Ho(time): there is no significant difference of means among morning, afternoon, and evening. Ho(interaction):there is no significant difference of means among morning, afternoon, and evening, and different from male to female as well. Here we use F statistical test.

F table value at 0.05 with (1,240) & (2,240) is 3.84 & 2.99. So in two factors and interaction of F cal < Ftab, so we accept null hypothesis Ho.

Therefore, there is no significant difference of means between male and female, there is no significant difference of means among morning, afternoon, and evening , there is no significant difference of means among morning, afternoon, and evening, and different from male to female as well.
