Hi, can anybody help me with my appiled questions that involved Birth Death process,

1a) For a two-state Markov process with = 1.5, = ½ , compute the probabilities that the process is in state 1 at time 0, 5, 20 given that it has a 0.3 chance of starting in state 0; Hence write down the limiting probabilities of the process.

1b) A simple birth-death process with = 9, = 3 starts with 4 individuals.
i) What is the probability that the population size will not reach 8.
ii) If the population size has reached 8, calculate the probability population will become extinct.
