a. The feature not apparent in the pie plot compared to the bar chart is
relative frequency marking/labelling arrangement on the chart itself, which readily makes sense
as data points are ordered in descending fashion, making comprehension of visualization easier
b. In pie chart, whats more apparent that the relative sizes of all categories end up summing to 100% ( or the full pie).
c. I would use the bar plot due to following reasons
- easily understandable as categories are sorted by descending order
- labbeled data of relative frequency available on the x-axis
- Not cluttered charts, make it easier to comprehend, even if number of categories were to increase in this case
