a) Mean is 3389 and s is 575

z is given as (x-mean)/s

P(x<2500)=P(z<(2500-3389)/575)=P(z<-1.55) or 1-P(z<1.55), from normal distribution table we get 1-0.9394=0.0606

b)Mean is 2836 and s is 650

P(x<2500)=P(z<(2500-2836)/650)=P(z<-0.52) or 1-P(z<0.52)

from normal table we get 1-0.6985=0.3015
