(b) Here the value which seperates the top 50 % and below 50% is called median. So, point estimate for median = sample median = (10th + 11th value in ascending order)/2 = (47 + 48)/2 = 47.5

(c) Point estimate of population standard deviation = sample standard deviation s = 16.785

(d) Here number of people having cholestrol level at least 60 mg/dl = 4

proportion of people having cholestrol at least 60 mg/ dl = 4/ 20 = 0.2
