The Framework to study Vulnerable Populations was used in the article handout "Healthcare Access and Utilization" to predict the physical health and the use of health services for homeless adults based on four conditions. Those conditions include: Blood pressure testing, functional vision testing, exam for skin/leg/foot problems and tuberculosis skin testing (pg. 1281) In your group discuss and answer the following questions. 1. Define the framework to study vulnerable populations 2. What is the significance of the framework to study vulnerable populations? ( 1-2 sentences)

Explanation / Answer

1) The framework to study vulnerable population is to select randomly homeless adults which are having blood pressure, vision, skin/leg/foot problems and tuberculosis and if they are not having it then test blood pressure, vision, skin/leg// foot problems and tuberculosis skin. Note it down carefully.

2) The significance of the study is that we will get to know that how much Proportion of homeless adults are suffering from blood pressure problem or bad vision or skin/leg/foot problems or suffering from tuberculosis.

By using such testing we can formulate the policies which can be beneficial to them and government can take right step to help these people.

Please Note: This is completely based on my perspective. So there can be so many answer to this.
