1.The data is a bar chart of the number of delays during the July and August month of United Airlines. The total number of flight delays for the analysis was found to be 18,767.Further, the bar chart shows that Tuesday has the most number of flight delays during these two months, and Friday has the least. One reason could be bad weather on Tuesday which might have increased the number of flight delays. Other reasons could be backups within the aviation system and airline-related issue. On Tuesday airline may have experienced such issues compared to all other days.Further,no significant issues have been noted on Friday causing least number of delays in flight.
2.In order to prevent these flights from delays, it is essential to provide accurate aircraft position information on the ground for smooth airport operations.Holdups can be detected by developing the early-warning system.Also, introducing more flights can resolve the issue. Data sharing can be used to provide better and more updated data to improve decision making for the United Airlines.
