But we will use the way we use in excel.

Here there are n = 30

so, now we will make two sets of 15 and 15 which divide datasets into two part.

so as the set 1 will have 15 values then the 8th value would be the Q1

so Q1 = 6

similarly, 23th value in ascending order would be the Q3

Q3 = 20
