William Snowden's gave a lecture about discrimination of black American and how police are more likely to use unnecessary force on a person who is black than on a white person in the same situation, he also mentioned that black American are more likely to be stopped or treated unfairly by police because the color of there skin.
William gave examples of black Americans being judged unfairly for example what happened in Philadelphia Starbucks when two black men were excorted out and then in Detroit when a 14 year old African American was killed for asking directions to school.
Please elaborate more about William Snowden’s and how police are bias.

William Snowden’s is a lecturer who was giving the information/data about the discrimination that is being done on grounds of color of skin in America. As per his findings, there are numerous cases wherein injustice was done to people whole color of skin was black, whereas if same action would have been done by white skin person, the police would not have reacted in this manner. Police is biased & treats people as per their skin of color & not on basis of crime. Sometimes, even if there was no crime done by black people, they were brutally punished.
I was totally unaware about the discrimination that was done on the basis of color of skin. The most surprising data was that, a 14 year old kid was killed just because he was asking for directions, what could be the reason behind murder of 14 year old kid….is it the color of skin?
The implications of this lecture could be that managers would now be at least have awareness in this regards & proper actions can be taken accordingly in this field so that this does not become a practice.
Bias exist due to dominance of white people in America; sometimes people become so jealous that they start discriminating on basis of skin’s color. Discrimination on any ground is just the waste of energies. People should think more general & should be more positive about humans rather than thinking about color. Police should be made aware that their duty is to protect people against crime & not judge people as per their color of skins. Any police officer committing such action should be suspended immediate from his duty. Awareness among people should be spread about right to freedom & equality & no discrimination on any grounds. Humanity should be treated above all & all humans are equal in front of god & law.
