b)

mean = sum of all observations/total number of observations

          (12 + 8 + 14 + 12 + 0 + 20)/6

= 66/6

= 11

Data in sorted manner: 0, 8, 12, 12, 14, 20

Median = average of (n/2)th and (n/2 + 1)th observation

          = average of 3rd and 4th observation

          =(12+12)/2

          =12

Mode = number occurring maximum number of times

Here 12 is the mode

sample variance = sum(Xi-xbar)^2/(n-1) = 222/5 = 44.4

sample sd = sqrt(variance) = sqrt(44.4) = 6.663332
