Now as per Jonathan ,the average of five jurors amount is $12000 per juror.

Thus for the five jurors the total will be ($12000*5) =$60000 .

Let Jonathan has $ X in his mind then

The average of all 6 juror should come to $20000

.Now, Total sum is $(60000+X)

Total people are 6.

Also ,the average amount for the 6 jurors is $20000

Thus average amount from 6 juror =Total sum/total jurors

Mathematically ,

(60000+X)/6=20000
