A good nutrition information system allows continuous collection, analysis and interpretation of data for making timely and effective decisions on all operational aspects in Delivery of food and nutrition services, like in Inventory management and logistics/ Distribution of final products to end users/ consumers. Also it has application in administrational activities and the local community, plus Government for making policy decisions and developing intervention programmes.
Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policies, procedures, of the Government and industry policies are critical to implement and manage best practices for health, safety, sanitation, quality assurance and client satisfaction. With sufficient compliance following, a company/ NGO will fail with no doubt at some stage.
An effective and competent leadership is required to monitor relevant local, national and global trends, emerging technologies, changes to legislation and execute the best practices to enhance work performance and guide management decisions with right Returns of Investment and profitability of the organization involved in Delivery of food and nutrition services.
