The figure below depicts the probability distribution for temperatures in a manufacturing process.  The temperatures are controlled so that they range between 0 and 5 degrees Celsius, and every possible temperature is equally likely. Note, the random variable TEMPERATURE, follows a uniform distribution:

Question: What is the probability that the temperature is found to be between 1 and 5 degrees Celsius?

Note: leave you answer as a decimal to one decimal place. For example, the answer should look like 0.1 or 0.5 (note that neither of these values are correct).

P(1 < X < 5) = (5 - 1)/(5 - 0)
