Steps:

Firstly we need to make sure that some how the entire population that is there is the university gets collected at a common place

This helps ensure that the population is complete

Ensure that students of all streams , and all different years, and gender are made to mark their presence

Only then a random sample can be drawn in complete sense that represents the population in true sense

Step first: decide upon the entire population

Step Second: divide the population into two categories: light and heavy users of beer
