Confidence interval = (X¯) +- (t*s)/sq.rt(n))

X¯ = 18.03, s = 7.22, n = 16 (number of samples)

Df = n-1 =15                    

For df = 15 and 99% confidence(alpha = 0.01) two tailed, t = 2.602

Thus,

Confidence interval = 18.03 +- (2.602*7.22)/sqrt(16)
