The direction of motion can be determined by the sign of the displacement. If the displacement is positive then the particle is moving in positive x direction and if it is negative the it is moving in negative x direction.
Part B
The magnitude of the velocity is the slope of displacement v/s time graph. From the graph the slope can be calculated by measuring the angle of tangent at any particular time.
Part C
When the slope of graphs are same then their velocities will be same.
Part D
Its velocity will also be zero.
