Question

Hello I would like to know if there is a course or a book in which to learn quantum mechanics is easier, I am currently studying quantum mechanics, but it is a little complicated because I have some mathematical doubts, but nevertheless I would like to know if there is a course or book that explains and develops the problems so that they are understandable. and if there is no book or course I would appreciate an honest and complete answer, thank you very much and greetings.
Sorry I know that this is not a problem but what better to ask the experts do not believe.

Explanation / Answer

Hello,

You might have heard about Introduction to Quantum Mechanics: David J. Griffiths as the best book for beginners quantum mechanics. It's true, but one needs to solve the examples and exercices given in it to get a better understanding of the subject. For most beginners this book gets the job done in the first semester of the course. If you want strong mathematical foundations alongside the theory then Principles of quantum mechanics: Shankar is the best one out there.

When I started learning quantum mechanics, I followed Griffiths and Quantum Mechanics Made Simple:
Lecture Notes by Weng Cho Chew
(University of Illinois). The notes flow smoothly from the principles built in classical mechanics, addresses their failures, modifies and implements them to explain quantum mechanics. Though simple, these notes helped me in the higher QM courses too. I strongly suggest you to study from Griffiths and solve problems (its solutions are easily available online). Thank you!
