A large group of college students was surveyed, and the following information was obtained: 1533 saw U2, 1127 saw string, 581 saw Lollapalooza, 219 saw all the three, 1853 saw none, 766 saw only U2, 654 saw U2 and Sting, and 92 saw Sting and Lollapalooza but not U2.     (this is a 3-event problem)                19 points

a)

Total no. of students , n(S) = n(saw all three acts)+n( saw none) = 219+1853 =2072

percent of the college students saw all the three acts = (219/2072)*100 = 10.57%

b)  percent of the college students saw at least two of the acts = (1- 0.1057)*100 = 89.43%
