C. An honors student wondered whether an education in statistics reduces the tendency to believe in cites data. He compares social science majors who had taken statistics and social science majors who had not taken statistics with respect to their responses to an interactive advertising assessment.

In A) we have given population mean and standard deviation.

Also sample of size 100. When we know population parameters mean and standard deviation in that case we use

Z- distribution.

B) In this situation we have to compare effect of different context in workplace. There are more than three different workplace category. Such as 1) employee working in enclosed office 2) employee working in open office 3) employee working from home.

When we have to check more than two category in that case we use f distribution .

C) In this case we don't have population parameters . In this context we have to find sample mean and sample standard deviation .

When we use sample information in this case we use t- test.

It means we use t distribution.
