Ans:

1)a)Raw scores are used very rarely,as it is difficult to comapre somone's performance based on raw score with someone else.Raw scores are only in good in terms of that we actually know how many he actually scored or correctly answered.But it is difficult to remember raw scores.

So,ususlly raw scores are converted to percentage and standardized score e.g percentiles .

percentiles score of student indicate the how much percentage of the class students have scored below that student.

b)if the standard error is very low,it means measurement readings are very consistent and there is less error in the measurements.

if the standard error is very high,it means measurement readings are not consistent and there is high error in the measurements.

2)standard deviation tells us the deviation from the mean,indicates the variablitity in the scores.
