b) Sample mean of amount of hours spend per week on homework = 5.1667 hours and Sample standard deviation = 2.4833 hours. (Ans).

c) The outliers are given by:

Only observation with study hour as 10 hours is the outlier.

d) After removing the outlier, the average hours spend on homework = 4.2 hours. (Ans).
