Explanation / Answer

Any organisation old – new or big – small or even fully furnished with latest kind of technology needs human resource or more apporpaatiley Human capital to carry out the task. Even to run some machine which have led to unemployment of several employees need some human hand to control and give it a command. Apart from machines which are programed and easily understood by its operator, human beings are the most complex resource of an organisation. As there is a huge diversity.in the behaviour and thought process of each human beings.

As we know management is a task of getting things done by other people, it’s important for a manager to deal with human capital wisely. The knowledge and implication of theories about human resource will one to handle this most crucial element of the organisation. Let us understand this with two behaviour of human beings i.e . motivation and conflict. This two can be noticed easily in an organisation. But motivating an individual requires different ways for different individual. There may not only a single thumb rule of motivation , but it may change from person to person. Same with the case of conflict. Conflicts are also solved with different way to different persons.

Some of the personal factors are: Physical characteristics, Age , Gender, Religion, Marital Status, Experience, Intelligence, Ability , personality, perception, Attitude , Values .

Environmental factors includes some economic factors like employment level , The employment opportunities which are available to the individuals go a long way in influencing the individual behaviour. Wage rates are also a major consideration which have a great influence on the behaviour of an human. The general economic environment like the government policies also give its influence on the behaviour. Also various technological secnirio where a person work is also plays an important role in a behaviour. There may be other legal , political and socio cultural factors which influences the behaviour of an human beign in a organisation.
