Hello, I need help with computing the cost equations and R-squared measure. Specifically, I need to calculate Fixed Cost (FC), variable Cost (VC), and R-sq for Salaries item. It is known that Semi-Fixed expenses for Salaries is: $613,006 for 1984 year, $968,789 for 1985 year, $1,211,464 for 1986 year, $1,289,758 for 1987 year, and $1,360,489 for 1988 year. New Retail Vehiacles Sold (NRVS) is: 1,798 for 1984 year, 1,977 for 1985 year, 1,674 for 1986 year, 1,450 for 1987 year, and 1,897 for 1988 year. The correct answer is for Salaries Item: FC: $106,866; VC: -$110; R-sq: 4.10%. When I did my calculations in Excel, I got different answers. I need to know how to calculate to get these answers.
