Thesis statement: Corporate culture has an effect on organisational performance which in turn improves the organisational efficiency.
Organisational Management issues are important to any manager as overall organisation performance and profitability is determined by Organisational Management. organisational Management includes deciding the benchmark of values and rules for the organisation and deciding the organisation structure that facilitate the operational activities of the organisation. For effective Organisational Management which is a cross functional area it is important to apply effective quality management principles and strategic management principles.
Google has effectively demonstrated that how Organisational Management and Organisation culture affect the morale of employees which in turn affects the profitability of organisation.
Through its corporate culture Google ensure that employees are happy so as to maintain productivity in the organisation. Facilities provided at Google are free breakfast lunch and dinner, health and Dental checkup, free haircut, video game football and ping pong , physician.
Organisational Management issue is important to me as a manager because it deals with tackling the most important resource of human resource in an effective and efficient manner. If we apply Pareto principle here it would imply that you focus on 20% of things that is employees satisfaction and you will get 80% of things that is profitability of organisation.
