****** I keep getting told my answers are wrong. For example on Accounting, females I divide 68/123 and get 55.28%. Webassign says this is wrong. Please help me for the love of all good things in this world.
Major Female Male Accounting 68 55 Admin 95 38 Economics 6 7 Finance 59 63Explanation / Answer
If individual majors are to be taken separately and perecentage is to be calculated, what you did is right. Since that is not working. We shall calculate the overall percentage, by dividing the frequency with the total population, that is 722
(If all colums of overall is to show 100, they wouldnt have shown that column I suppose)
Major female male overall Accounting 68/722 x 100 = 9.42% 55/722 x 100 = 7.62 % 123/722x100 = 17.04% Admin 13.16% 5.26% 18.42% Economics 0.83% 0.97% 1.80% Finance 8.17% 8.73% 16.90%Related Questions
