H &M( Hennes & Mauritz Ab ) is a Swedish multinational clothing-retail company with a 71-year-old history of existence. this company brings a revolution in fast fashion. I choose this topic because of it only. the six topics I am covering in this paper were:-

these six topic is the pillar of any organization to get a stable and successful life panel on the market. if they understand and make them in the correct format then the chance of stability get more.

ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE:

H&M is a very big name in the fast fashion market, they run 4553 stores worldwide. as the company serves different people at a different location the company structure to manage them is quite different too that's why they are running successfully for a long period of time. H&M group have eight well-defined brands: H&M, COS&Other Stories, Monki, weekday, Cheap Monday, H &M Homes and ARKET. each brand is headed by a responsible individual and they have there own local sales organization. CEO, appointed by the board of directors which is responsible for day-day management of the groups. apart from that they have numbers of joint group functions ( business development, controlling, expansion, human resources, sustainability, investor relation, IT, legal, communication, logistics, production, accounting, security ) that support each brand in certain common areas, so that each brand work properly ,they all have individual person to take up the responsibility.

INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL ENVIRONMENT:

this company run in 35 countries which make its environment very turbulence and to control this factor they have several ways. now a managerial economics is again an important factor before that we need to understand what is managerial economics: this is the application of economic concept and analyzing them in such a way that it helps the manager in taking the decision.now they have internal environment, as they work in different countries they come across different type of people during work so they need to have a stable and common scenario for everyone, which help them to create stability in workplace. when we talk about external one then they have the macro and micro environment in which many factors like ( politics, socio-cultural and demographics, economics, suppliers, public etc) will be covered, so we need to take in consider several factors to take a decision.

ORGANIZATION CULTURE:

As this company has huge target groups which also have huge suppliers which make them in a condition where different people work under a single group. due to globalization, many factors get change and new policies were made. culture plays an important role in any organization which decides that this work is suitable for different people to work or not. as a manager, we need to take in consideration that we stable the culture of the organization so that it remains employee friendly and no discrimination is taken place over the cultural backgrounds of the people.

STRATEGY:

they have 3 ambitions: 100% leading the change, 100% fair and equal, 100% circular and renewable. as they have a strong history of sustainability which makes there strategy very clear among the target customers. because of the low price and good quality it gets popular among the students. they want to make sure that fashion is not limited to the upper class, but also the people who live an ordinary life, this is the major factor which influences the manager decision and this strategy factor again gain more points to attract more and more customer and retain the old customer too as a loyal buyer.

RISK MANAGEMENT:

the company of large-scale always consider the risk as a major factor which influences them strongly. H&M carries out the risk analysis on regular bases, there are two type of risks: operational risk which covers - ( the major shift in the industry, reputation risk, fashion, weather and negative macroeconomic changes and geopolitical risks) and the other one is the financial risk which covers - ( Foreign currencies, trading intervention, taxes ). recently the "the coolest monkey in the jungle where they feature a black child as a monkey in hoodie" happened for that they need to apologise hence this type of factors need to be considered by a manager which can effect your growth and brand value.

COMPETITION:

there are many competitors in the fast fashion change because the availability of every resource on there tips hence the competition generated day by day. yet H&M have many competitive advantages that make difficult for others to affect them. the major factor is its long history of survival in the market which creates a sense of brand value among the target customers. other competitions like ZARA, SS, bestseller, C&A etc lack there. they attract new designers and give them a better platform which as an economic factor for the company because they give new blood of ideas and the growth too enhance. the manager needs to consider all these factors in mind while making different decisions.
