Explanation / Answer
A regression analysis test is run to find the relation between years of experience and Scores , based on gender
total 20 sample units were analysed. 10 of them were male and 10 were female. The mean years of exeprience was 11.25years and the mean confidence score was 118.25. The standard error of mean was 2.131 for years of experience and 5.278 for confidence scores.
.
Further the T statistic table tells us about the mean and standard error for each variable is provided for males and females separately. Years of experience for males mean is 12.30 and for females is 10.20.The mean confidence score for male is 111.10 and for females it is 125.40.
The correlation results tell us that there is negative correlation between years of experience and confidence scores and the maginitue of this relation is close to Zero. r = -.131 . Since the P value for this correlation coefficient between years of experienc eand confidence scores is 0.581 which is greater than 0.05 , we fail to reject the null hypothesis. Thus we conclude that the correlation between years of expeirence and confidence scores is not significant.
