Using the information below please compute the correct Measure of Dispersion and state which city is more homogenous and which is more heterogeneous. A teacher was trying to decide which of her classes did better on an exam. Compute the Measure of Dispersion for the test scores below. Which class did better? Below are the scores for freshman and seniors on an English Proficiency exam. After four years did seniors do much better on the exam? Write a short paragraph describing what you found.

using ms-excel we calcuate the mean and variance

As mean score of class A is more than Class B, so A did better than B

the variacne of B is less than A, so B is more homogenous than A

(3) we calcualte the mean for Freshmen and Seniors

mean(Freshmen)=sum(F*X)/Sum(F)=3255/105=31

mean(seniors)=3965/105=37.76

since mean of seniors is more than mean of freshmen , so serior did better
