Both players claim that they average 30 points per game and as such are justifiably the top player. Below are the recent, per game point totals for each of the players. While LeBron James is arguing that he is the best player in the NBA, Kyrie Irving (James' Teammate) argues that James isn't even the best player on their team. Irving feels that he is the best player and claims that he scores more points than James. Irving's scoring numbers are listed below: Determine whether or not Irving's claim is reasonable in that he scores significantly more points per game than does James. Sum of all recent game points scored = 482
Number of games played = 16
Average = Sum of all recent game points scored / number of games played = 482/16
Average = 30.125
2. LeBron James
Sum of all recent game points scored = 412
Number of games played = 16
Average = Sum of all recent game points scored / number of games played = 412/16
Average = 25.75
By looking at the above results Russel Westbrook scores 30.125 average points per game than the LeBron James where he score an average points per game is 25.75, hence Russel Westbrook is the best player in NBA as he scored more than the 30 points per game.
