a) Probability that everyone who shows up for this flight will have seat is 0.1008.
p = 0.96, n = 200, x = 190
By applying binomial distribution:-
P(x, n, p) = nCx*p x *(1 - p)(n - x)
P(x = 190) = 0.1008
b) The expected number of passengers with no seat available for this flight is 2.
n = 200, p = 0.96
Average number of passeneger that will appear for flight = 0.96 × 200 = 192
The expected number of passengers with no seat available for this flight = 192 - 190 = 2
