as we know that for normal distribution z score =(X-mean)/std deviation

therefore probabilty of the total sales amounts will be between $1,310 and $1,400 =P(1310<X<1400)

=P((1310-1200)/350<Z<(1400-1200)/350)=P(0.3143<Z<0.5714)=0.7161-0.6233=0.0928

hence percent of the total sales amounts will be between $1,310 and $1,400 =9.28%
