The research question that can be addressed with one way ANOVA from the field of mareting is:
Suppose a product is sold in 4 different areas in a region
We need to compare the sales of each of the areas
Suppose the areas are : A1 A2 A3 A4
Thus the null hypothesis would be:
Ho: The sales in all four areas of the region is same
Ha: The sales of atleast one of the area in the region is different
.
Likewise we can form the question based on "number of customers" or "cost incurred in each area"
