Answer to question #1)

This type of sampling is called convinience sampling. It was easier to find the people at the boostore and directly question them. Thus sampling scheme , helps the researcher to find the sampling units easily. It does not have to reach the entire population and search for the units . The researcher knows that those who come to the bookstore are going to pay ,, and they would also remember the amount they paid, hence it would be really quick and easy to get the data. This involves more convinience for the researcher as it is a hasslefree method of collecting the data.
