Question

Is the location where students sit in a classroom associated with grade point average (GPA)? In order to investigate this question, a researcher at a university randomly selected 500 undergraduate students classified as upperclassmen from this university (from the population of all upperclassmen students at this university). Among these 500 students, 150 students greed to participate in a study. The GPA for each of these 150 students was obtained from the Office of Registration and Records. Each student also indicated where they typically sit in the classroom (front, middle, or back), Below are the summarized results of the study. The sample size sample mean GPA, and sample standard deviation of GPA are provided for each "location" group. The normal probability plot of GPAs for students in each location is also provided. What is the response variable in this experiment/study? b. What is the factor in this experiment/study? c.
