Question
I am really stuck at the part where we find the percentages between the two intervals on a probability worksheet. Can someone help me to determine what lies between (number of observations) between their mean and standard deviation?
My questions - X-bar - S = 38.91
X-bar + S = 46.89
Also - X-bar - S = 20.95
X-bar + S = 27.45
How do I find the number of observations between these two in order to determine the percentage within the intervals?
Explanation / Answer
here in question 1 and 2 , both as theses values fall one std deviation away from mean hence from empirical formual 68.27 % values falls b/w them
please reply if your distribution is different then normal
